Hello, I am baking a rich fruit xmas cake in the next couple of days, But the recipe does not tell me what number I have to put my fan oven on.It says 275f or 140c but mine is a fan oven and I dont want to spoil the cake, it also says put cake in for 4 & half hours.. I would be most grateful if you could advise me what to do?

Your best bet is to find the instruction manual for your oven. It shoud give you instructions on what to set your oven on for the equivalent temperatures.
